Wingfield & Corry, P.A., is a professional association concentrating in tax controversies, estate planning, probate and elder law. We have discovered over the years that there are very few local firms who solicit as much tax controversy work of this type or represent as many tax debtors as we do. Although many national tax “resolution” or “consulting” firms solicit this type of business, we have found that they have little or no ability to deal with taxes related to the state of Arkansas since their emphasis and concentration seems to be with federal taxes only. In addition, Firms that are available in-state or maintain offices in-state, to our knowledge, are accounting firms that cannot advise thoroughly or assist with bankruptcy and the ability to discharge taxes in a bankruptcy.
